Time to Get to Work!!

Hi Everyone! I see the posts are slowing starting to come in. I hope not everyone waits until the last week of summer!

Just FYI stuff - We meet 1st period. That means it is essential that you get to school on time everday. We move ver quickly through a rigorous curriculum. For supplies, all you need to get is a 1.5" binder and a small amount of looseleaf paper. No folders please!! Ask anyone of my former students and they will tell you that I give out handouts everyday, and all of them will be hole punched to go right into your binder.

Enjoy the rest of the summer!
Take care,
Mrs. Raftery

Welcome!

Let's get started by just introducing ourselves! I will go first!

I have been teaching at Smithtown for six years. I also teach AP World History, but have looked forward to teaching AP Euro as I am very interested in the subject and studied in Belgium while I was on college. I love to travel and hope I can inspire the same love of travel in each of you.

Why are each of you taking this course?
What do you like to do outside of school?
What are your plans for the summer?
